Needs attention
Homes where Housebook's automatic checks found something missing or unclear, or where the homeowner said a photo or step isn't right. Nobody reviews homes by hand: the homeowner confirms every emergency photo and step.
Setups
For do-it-yourself customers: make a private setup link and send it to them. They fill in the setup form on their phone and press Send to Hello Housebook; it shows up here, ready to add. Links work for 45 days.
Letters to review
Each Estate home gets a yearly letter on its Housebook anniversary. Housebook writes it from the home's records; read it, change anything, and send it signed by you. Plus letters go out on their own.
The Housebook Edit: articles
One featured article a month in every home's Housebook Edit. Each home sees the best match for its climate and state; an article with no climates or states ticked is for everyone. Articles come back each year in the months you pick.

Homes by area
Active homes, counted by the ZIP code in their address. At 75 homes in an area, start lining up Housebook Edit sponsors; at 100 The Housebook Edit can open there. You get one email at each. Sponsors only ever see the count, never which homes.
Group ZIP codes into one area
Nearby towns can share an edition of The Housebook Edit, for example Mystic, Stonington and Groton as "Mystic area". Give each ZIP the same area name. Leave the name blank to go back to the town's own name.
Backups
Every night at 3am, every home, its records, its uploaded files and the sign-ins are copied, scrambled with your backup key (the printed page) and sent to Backblaze. Each backup is opened again and checked before it counts.
Two-step sign-in
Your dashboard opens every home and document, so signing in takes your password and a code from your authenticator app. You stay signed in for 7 days on each device.
Homes
Each home's owner signs in with their own password, which they choose from their welcome link. For a forgotten password, make a new welcome link.
Add a home
For a home file someone emailed you, or your own test home: add the file from the guided walkthrough. A welcome link for the homeowner is made automatically. Housebook checks for missing or unclear photos; the homeowner confirms every emergency photo and step when they first sign in.
