Forward it and it's filed
Your house has its own email address. Forward invoices, receipts, warranties, insurance policies and house papers (survey, deed, permits) to it, and Hello Housebook reads them and files them in Documents. Invoices also show what you paid last time on the matching task.
Tip: save it in your contacts as your house's name. Only email from your own address goes straight in; anything from another address waits for your OK.
Save from Gmail
A Save to Housebook button right inside Gmail, on your computer and in the Gmail app. Open an invoice, receipt or warranty email, tap the Housebook icon, and its files are read and filed in Documents. Housebook only sees the email you choose to save, never the rest of your inbox.
Weather
Hello Housebook checks the weather forecast for your area and sends a notification when there's something to do at the house, like shutting off the outdoor spigots before a hard freeze.
The day before a night of 28°F or colder: a reminder to open your thermostat's app and make sure the heat is set to at least 55°F.
Smart devices
Anything with its own app: a smart thermostat, leak sensors, a video doorbell or camera, a smart lock. Hello Housebook doesn't connect to them; it reminds you which settings to turn on in each app.

A reminder on this phone when something's due for the house, an insurance renewal is coming up, or a warranty is about to end.
One sign-in for all your homes
Sign in with your email instead of this home's password: you'll see every Housebook you own, and switch between them at the top of the page. This home's password keeps working.
